I was recommended Excel by my dad after quite a small move. From the first appointment, to the communication, free boxes, absolutely first class. Onto to the day itself, we had 2 men and vans to load up, they were so efficient, organised and super friendly, all packed up in 3 and a bit hours, 2 vans chocca full. Unloading, we had 2 more who'd come from another completed job, and again they we brilliant. A house move is stressful(never doing it again ??), but the whole Excel removals experience was fantastic. I recently moved house and the service was excellent. To start with, the lady on the phone was polite, friendly and very helpful.I had a visit to organise a quote and I really appreciated the friendly, honest, no nonsense approach. This removal company was excellent! We had 5 people with 4 vans. They arrived at 8.30, was loaded for just gone 12, and unloaded at the other end for 5pm. The guys were professional and courteous, nothing was too much trouble. They really went above and beyond! I would definitely use this company again in a heartbeat. Can't recommend them enough!

Whilst talking to one the movers he said he's been trying to work for the Excel for a while because they really care. He's right they do! After months of waiting we finally had a move date and Exel were there bang on time , in came a great team of people who moved us out in a timely manner , arriving at our new home it was tight getting near to the new property but they did it , and by 6pm working through the cold and rain in mid February we were in , the team grafted all day and all with great team work and hummer. But the best testament to this company is that when we found a damaged TV it was sorted out by Neil and his team they were most upset that this had happened , the insurance kicked in and like most insurance companies the were a pain in Exel and our arse but great credit to Niel from Exel who stuck with it and we finally have a new TV installed . When the chips were down you can rely on a company like this I would recommend them highly. Well done Exel we wish you every success

The Service from Neil, Sally, jake, Ben and Karl is amazing. I have moved with them twice for myself and once on behalf of my vulnerable brother. The attention to detail, the customer service and their forethought is how it used to be years gone by. Good old fashioned service. I'm 51 and remember when staff showed they care about you. Excel Removals do. I also have storage items with them, due to working abroad a while. Again, easy to use, organise and nip to get something out. They are priced great. I needed a removal Company for my House move & contacted Excel Removals randomly after seeing one of their Lorries on the Road, Neil the owner sorted all of this out for me, on the day of the move Ben & Carl was assigned to my move, they turned up on time, assessed the House & then proceeded in protecting the Doors & Carpets from damage etc, they both were very respectful & careful at both properties, I would definitely recommend their Services if you are moving home.

Don’t look any further. If these guys have availability then book them, you won’t be disappointed.
From booking to the guys that came, nothing was too much trouble. The guys worked their socks off and always with a genuine smile. Another nice touch was the owner calling us a few days later to check everything went to our expectations.

I used Excel again this week, the service was just as efficient as last time. Neil and Sally were so helpful and made the whole process very easy again.
It can seem daunting and sometimes tricky for the customer to think about the logistics, but they made it so simple and straightforward for me, I was so grateful.
The team of men were very patient, nothing was too much trouble, they gave really good advice and made me relax and so the process went very smoothly.

We used Excel Removals in December to move our 5 bedroom house (and boy did we have a lot of stuff!). Excel first came out and inspected our house, checking how many people and vans we might need, walked us through everything in detail, explained their processes and paperwork and how it would work on the day. We then got a quote through soon after which was very well priced. On the day itself the team of 4 came early, all very happy for an early start! They didn’t frown when they saw the literal mountains boxes in every room!
They carefully laid out the carpet protectors everywhere and we did a walk around the house to explain everything we’d packed etc, they then set to work loading the vans (we had 4 giant vans come – and it was a pleasure to see the vans were impeccable – clean, organised both inside and out – Excel Removals obviously care for their equipment and ours!). The team were absolute superstars – they loaded all items with care, asked questions about any loading/unloading requirements for specific items and if you ever think you were good at playing Tetris…I’m pretty sure this team would put you to shame – the way they packed things in amazed me – it was so organised, making great use of the space for items, using the padded covers for electrical equipment and paintings, strapping them to the van in secure locations and checking nothing could damage them.
After getting the house loaded in just a few hours (which had taken us weeks to box!) we then met them at our new home, after a delay getting the keys we were unloading by around 16:30 – after such a long and hard day moving the team were still full of enthusiasm and no complaints at the late unloading either. They didn’t rush anything and took the time to ask about any item which had ambiguous locations to be put into.
We also needed to take some internal doors off to move the American Fridge Freezer, but the team had the correct harnessing gear to do this and were happy to wait for us to take the doors off. They were done so fast too, and still full of energy after it all! We are so thankful for the teams help with everything, if you are wanting a professional and amazing team of removals around South Yorkshire (Rotherham, Sheffield, Doncaster, Barnsley etc), Excel Removals is the one to go for!

We have now used Excel removals twice and on both occasions found them to be very professional and incredibly helpful as well as being very personable pleasant people . From the two owners Sally and Neil to all the staff they went that extra mile to make the moves as easy as possible for us . As well as Sally and Neil , a special mention to Jake who always has a big smile and moves at the speed of Usain Bolt to help you out when you need it . We also now rent out a storage container from them that’s been a godsend and they are always helpful when we visit to take stuff out . We would totally recommend their services.

What a fantastic service…
We chose Excel Removals as they were recommended to us by some friends. Now we can see why..
From Neil arriving punctually with a smile to give us a quote, to the guys that moved us out… The service was seamless!!
4 wagons arrived at 8am on moving day and the guys went above and beyond to ensure the protection of our personal belongings whilst loading them swiftly onto the wagons.. TV’s, mirrors, doors etc were individually wrapped and strapped in their own padded sleeping bags (not a technical term) to ensure they were safe..
Nothing was too much trouble for these guys. Even when the job ran 2 hours over which meant them sitting in their wagons for 5 hours until we got our keys, they arrived with smiles on their faces with the same work ethic as they had at 8am!!
Excellent service, would recommend all day long..
