We used Excel Removals in December to move our 5 bedroom house (and boy did we have a lot of stuff!). Excel first came out and inspected our house, checking how many people and vans we might need, walked us through everything in detail, explained their processes and paperwork and how it would work on the day. We then got a quote through soon after which was very well priced. On the day itself the team of 4 came early, all very happy for an early start! They didn’t frown when they saw the literal mountains boxes in every room!
They carefully laid out the carpet protectors everywhere and we did a walk around the house to explain everything we’d packed etc, they then set to work loading the vans (we had 4 giant vans come – and it was a pleasure to see the vans were impeccable – clean, organised both inside and out – Excel Removals obviously care for their equipment and ours!). The team were absolute superstars – they loaded all items with care, asked questions about any loading/unloading requirements for specific items and if you ever think you were good at playing Tetris…I’m pretty sure this team would put you to shame – the way they packed things in amazed me – it was so organised, making great use of the space for items, using the padded covers for electrical equipment and paintings, strapping them to the van in secure locations and checking nothing could damage them.
After getting the house loaded in just a few hours (which had taken us weeks to box!) we then met them at our new home, after a delay getting the keys we were unloading by around 16:30 – after such a long and hard day moving the team were still full of enthusiasm and no complaints at the late unloading either. They didn’t rush anything and took the time to ask about any item which had ambiguous locations to be put into.
We also needed to take some internal doors off to move the American Fridge Freezer, but the team had the correct harnessing gear to do this and were happy to wait for us to take the doors off. They were done so fast too, and still full of energy after it all! We are so thankful for the teams help with everything, if you are wanting a professional and amazing team of removals around South Yorkshire (Rotherham, Sheffield, Doncaster, Barnsley etc), Excel Removals is the one to go for!

We have now used Excel removals twice and on both occasions found them to be very professional and incredibly helpful as well as being very personable pleasant people . From the two owners Sally and Neil to all the staff they went that extra mile to make the moves as easy as possible for us . As well as Sally and Neil , a special mention to Jake who always has a big smile and moves at the speed of Usain Bolt to help you out when you need it . We also now rent out a storage container from them that’s been a godsend and they are always helpful when we visit to take stuff out . We would totally recommend their services.

What a fantastic service…
We chose Excel Removals as they were recommended to us by some friends. Now we can see why..
From Neil arriving punctually with a smile to give us a quote, to the guys that moved us out… The service was seamless!!
4 wagons arrived at 8am on moving day and the guys went above and beyond to ensure the protection of our personal belongings whilst loading them swiftly onto the wagons.. TV’s, mirrors, doors etc were individually wrapped and strapped in their own padded sleeping bags (not a technical term) to ensure they were safe..
Nothing was too much trouble for these guys. Even when the job ran 2 hours over which meant them sitting in their wagons for 5 hours until we got our keys, they arrived with smiles on their faces with the same work ethic as they had at 8am!!
Excellent service, would recommend all day long..
